Last month, at a weekend scrapbooking crop, I finally had the chance to finish Zooey’s Baby Album – Project Life Style. Here are the remainder of the pages (see Part I and Part II):
Thoughts:
- It feels so good to be done with this album… 3 + years after the fact.
- The last part of my album is less journaling and more pictures. I used my blog as way to go back and remember, to tell the stories. And the reality of having three kids is that I didn’t always write things down. But its OK. The pictures are there and her first year is all in one place. And to me that is most important.
- The last page – I now see that I want to write a little note to Zooey on that bottom right card. I will go back to do that.
- I never completed a full baby album for my boys – debating if I want to go back and do theirs now.
- I didn’t have a plan when I start this album. I just printed everything in 4×6 and start shoving pictures in. I think it turned out ok. But in hindsight I wish I would have planned a bit more. Varied my picture sizes, made collages, etc.
- But it’s done and I am happy about that!
